Zoner Studio Presents the Summer Update Focused on Faster Workflows and Advanced Photo Stacking

New Focus Stacking, smarter photo series workflows, improved search, and faster retouching bring practical upgrades photographers will regularly use.

Brno, Czech Republic – Zoner Studio has released its Summer Update, introducing a major set of workflow-focused improvements designed to help photographers work faster, achieve more precise results, and reduce dependency on external plugins or additional software.

Photo Stacking Tools Become Part of the Workflow

At the center of the update is a redesigned set of Photo Stacking Tools, bringing workflows traditionally split across multiple apps directly into Zoner Studio. The new tools include Focus Stacking, Exposure Bracketing, Panorama, Long Exposure, Animation, and Remove Moving Objects – all connected to automatic photo grouping and faster series recognition.

“Photographers don’t need more features built for marketing headlines. They need tools that genuinely improve everyday work with photos,” said Jan Kupčík, Product Manager at Zoner Studio. “This update is about removing friction from real workflows — from sorting RAW libraries to stacking photo series and getting better final images without switching between tools.”

One of the biggest additions is Focus Stacking, one of the most requested features among macro and product photographers. The tool combines multiple focus points into a single image with extended sharpness across the entire scene. Panorama and Exposure Bracketing workflows also received significant quality and workflow improvements, while new Autostack and Detect Stack workflows can now automatically recognize related image series and significantly reduce manual preparation after importing.

Smarter Searching and Faster Organization

The update also introduces a redesigned search system built for large RAW libraries. Working across all metadata and improved grouping workflows, it makes sorting, filtering, and organizing large image sets significantly faster directly inside Zoner Studio.

Additional Workflow Improvements

Additional improvements include:

Clever Retouching for faster everyday cleanup and object removal,
an upgraded Music Library for video projects,
and updated color processing designed to improve consistency across editing workflows.
